Enchanted Light Original 18"x24" Painting on Canvas on My Website Here

This Week 8"x10" print here
ACEO 2.5"x3.5" Limited Edition LE 1st of 25 here

This week I am listing "Enchanted Light" at my promotional rate as a print and ACEO. The original realist white magnolia painting is available for purchase on my website! I also have additional giclee art and ACEO prints on ebay here.

Most of my art is also available on my website at http://www.lisarusso.com/; however, I like to offer some art on ebay at a lower promotional start rate for the duration of the auctions... I am just getting started at updating and adding payment buttons to my website. It's a very slow project, but one I hope to focus on.

This Week "Elegance" Original 11"x14" Painting here
8"x10" print here
ACEO 2.5"x3.5" Limited Edition LE 1st of 25 here

Here is "Elegance," a blooming pink saucer magnolia realist flower with a budding bloom as well...

I also have additional giclee art and ACEO prints here with a theme of flowers and flower guardians.  The auctions will end next Tuesday.

A Photograph of a White Magnolia Flower...

I took this photograph of a white magnolia flower outside of Alex's old place some time ago, I used it as reference for a painting I hope to share tomorrow.  The magnolias around here are in bloom right now...

My finished white magnolia painting...

I had my doubts that I would ever call this painting finished, but I'm calling it; well, for now anyway!  It's an 18"x24" acrylic white magnolia flower painting on canvas entitled "Enchanting Light."  To see it on my website, please visit here

I know I skip around a lot.  Some days all I want to paint is floral art, other days, it's fairies, and so on...  I know it isn't technically correct, but I want to call myself an expressionist painter, because I am so emotively driven...  I tend to paint what I feel and when I feel it...  I know it would be better professionally to focus on one genre, but there's a whole world out there and beyond that, there's the world I imagine as well!

I know that I'm stronger at certain subjects than with others, but at this point, I can't force myself to give up any of them...  Perhaps that will change at some point, but right now, I remain diversely driven...

Anyway, I'm joining in this week with Paint Party Friday.  To see more participants, please visit:

Work in Progress White Magnolia Painting, wip 3

Amidst some of my finished florals, I found this in progress painting hiding.  I haven't done that much to it this week, but I did make some progress!  It's been a very long time since this unfinished white magnolia painting was hidden amongst the finished ones!

White Magnolia Painting, Work in Progress 2

Here is where I am with this painting at the moment. I might not have the opportunity to paint next week or post much if at all next week, but hopefully after that things should clear up and I'll be able to make more progress with this painting :).

It's an 18"x24" white magnolia acrylic painting on canvas.

Happy Paint Party Friday everyone!

The start of a large white magnolia painting...

This is the painting currently on my easel. It's the start of a large (well, large for me anyway at 18"x24") acrylic original white magnolia painting. At this point the painting is untitled.
