This sketch is of a yellow calla lily. If you're wondering why all of the flowers I've posted this week are yellow, well, it's only that I have a bit more yellow on my palette than I will need for the paintings I am currently working on. Beautiful sketch of a yellow calla lily. I know it will be so pretty when you paint it (or one of the other flowers that you are sketching). I had a pink calla lily I got as an indoor plant. I planted it outside in a sheltered spot and it came back for many years. They are such beautiful flowers.
