Tulips at Descanso Gardens & Temporary Suspension of Sketch/Painting Voting...
This week will be a week of many outings. I think I'll only be home a couple of days this week and next week won't be much better, so until I get caught up on the paintings that were voted for, I'm going to temporarily suspend my sketching/painting challenge to myself... I went to a lecture at Descanso Gardens in La Canada and both the tulips and the cherry blossoms are in bloom. This is only the case for a brief while, so if you are local and love flowers, hop on by! This photograph was actually taken last year, I haven't had a chance yet to sort through my pictures from my most recent visit, but I hope you will enjoy this vibrant burst of spring!

lovely tulips! Enjoy your break.
Have a lovely week Lisa, Annette x
These tulips are gorgeous. We actually had snow here today and it looks like there is more in the forecast.
Enjoy your week. Looking forward to checking in next week to see what you are working on. btw...have you seen the cute little bunny that Telus has in their ads? I'm talking about the one with the bunny looking in the mirror. I'm in Canada so you might get different ads than me. I thought of your bunnies when I saw it...it is so totally adorable.
Have a great time on your outings, Lisa.
I love tulips and today on the first day of spring one popped up in my daughter's garden.
Rose loved seeing it, I did too.
Love the color of these tulips.
Like a gift Lisa Isabella, we had snow again and cold again so photos of flowers are worth more then their weight in gold...how do you always know what we need the most?
Wow this is a beautiful photo. The colors are so vivid.
