Happy Mother's Day! Mermaid Angel Fairy Big Eye Gothic Sketch Art + Duck & Ducklings...

I took this photograph when I was visiting Huntington Gardens.  This momma duck was leading her ducklings through the lily pads.  I wonder if I'd ever have the patience to turn it into a painting, so many little ducklings and so many lily pads...  Happy Mother's Day from me to you!  I hope that you will enjoy this photo!

Here is a sketch of a gothic big eye maiden who would like to wish you a happy Mother's Day. I think she would like to be a mermaid; but it's also possible she may be an angel, fairy, or possibly a goddess.  I'm not sure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her...

I am also participating in Sunday Sketches.  To view more Sunday Sketches, please visit:

pretty photo of the lily pond with ducklings. And pretty sketch too. It's wonderful when you have choices of what a drawing will become.
