I took this photograph of an angel sculpture at Armstrong Garden Center in La Canada. I was looking for an angel sculpture to send to family and I wanted to compare this one with another I had in mind, so I took a photo. I ended up going with a smaller piece, but I thought this one was very pretty and I loved how they had her displayed at Armstrong. I hope that you will enjoy this photo!
Here is a sketch of a big eye gothic maiden. I think she may be a fairy angel with a very direct appeal, or she could possibly be a mermaid or a goddess. I might like to paint her but my reference image is very tiny... Still, I am glad to have sketched her!
