Here is a sketch of a big eyed gothic maiden. For today, I took the one (sketch 3) I felt needed the most improvement and with the input of Alex of The Darker Side of Passion I did a second sketch of her. I think she has a more serious quality now and although I thought her something else before, I've now changed my mind. I think she is most likely a mermaid of the deep blue sea, although she could also be an angel fairy or a goddess. These possibilities are rarely set in stone for me when just sketching faces that appeal to me... I'm unsure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.
She is face 6 for 29 faces in September. The goal is to share 29 faces in the month of September.

Loving her eyelashes! And a beautiful blue landscape today. I also did a landscape coincidentally.
The gothic maiden looks perfect! It's great how you do this as well as the blue landscape!
I like to redraw and rework too! Looking good!

I really like all of your "gothic maiden" sketches. You are very talented with a pencil. Your maidens all have such expressive eyes. Makes you wonder what they my be up to... :-)
I like the transformation of this maiden of the deep blue sea!
Thanks so very much! I very much enjoy sketching and of course blue is such an important color to me!
Blue Vista influenced me so much that I saw your sketch as the goddess of water!
