29 Faces, Face 17, Gothic Mermaid Big Eye Sketch Art + Hidden Magic Landscape Website Update...

Here is a sketch of a big eyed gothic maiden.  She is partly in shadow and partly in light...  I think she is most likely a mermaid, although she could also be a fairy angel or goddess.  I'm not sure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.  

She is face 17 for 29 faces in September.  The goal is to share 29 faces in the month of September.

29 Faces, Face 3, Gothic Mermaid Big Eye Sketch + Blue Landscape Waterfall Website Update...

Here is a sketch of a big eyed gothic maiden.  For today, I took the one (sketch 3) I felt needed the most improvement and with the input of Alex of The Darker Side of Passion I did a second sketch of her.  I think she has a more serious quality now and although I thought her something else before, I've now changed my mind.  I think she is most likely a mermaid of the deep blue sea, although she could also be an angel fairy or a goddess.  These possibilities are rarely set in stone for me when just sketching faces that appeal to me...  I'm unsure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.  

She is face 6 for 29 faces in September.  The goal is to share 29 faces in the month of September.

Here is a sketch of a big eye gothic maiden.  I am uncertain if she would like to be a mermaid, angel, fairy, or possibly a goddess; or some combination thereof.  I think she has an inquisitive contemplative quality.  I'm not sure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.

WIP Sakura Cherry Blossoms Flowers Art Original Painting Work in Progress + Sailboat Website Update...

Here is a work in progress view of a 5"x7" original sakura cherry blossoms painting.  I've done additional glazing on the flowers in this wip.  I still need to do the cores of the flowers and a bit more.  However, I think I am close to finishing this painting, I hope to have it completed by Tuesday...

I am listing "Reminders," an original painting of a sailboat on the ocean in San Pedro California.  I love the sea and there's something about sailboats that I find very beautiful.  The art has a realist impressionist feel...

I also have additional giclee art and ACEO prints here this week from Tuesday to Tuesday with a theme of sailboats and the sea.  Father's Day is just around the corner...

Here is a sketch of a mermaid angel fairy gothic big eye maiden.  She has huge eyes and long flowing mermaid hair, I've also given her a little seashell necklace.  I have an idea for another mermaid painting, but I'm not sure if she's the one I want to use for it; so, back to the drawing board...

I painted this piece quite some time ago.  The heart rising up from the purple mountains represents hope to me.  Hope that there is love on some level that will be a part of our lives; be it a romantic love, a friendship love, the love of pets, a familial love, and so on...  The piece has a soft surreal dreamlike impressionist feel.  The original is not for sale, but I do have this piece available as prints and ACEOs!

I am listing "Reminders," an original seascape sailboat painting.  I don't paint that many sailboats, but when I went on a harbor cruise in San Pedro, I felt very drawn to this one.  I love the ocean even when mermaids aren't apparent.  I'm not sure why, but this image is a little darker then actual... 

I also have additional giclee art and ACEO prints here this week from Tuesday to Tuesday with a theme of seascapes and ocean dwellers, although my koi fish also sneaked in...
