In this original acrylic work in progress golden snub nosed monkey painting, I've blocked in the eyes. So much further to go on this wip! I'd hoped to do more yesterday, but it turned into more of an errands day than an art day... Hopefully today will be better. These monkeys have the most amazing colors in their faces and fur, I love painting animals!

Thanks so very much Christine, Jennifer, and Stacy! I think Chinese New Year starts on February 8th this year, but it's celebrated for a couple of weeks. I had wanted to get this done for tomorrow, but unfortunately I won't have a full painting day today, so it seems unlikely...
