WIP Work in Progress Baby Yoda Grogu Inspired Original Painting...

In this original wip work in progress acrylic painting inspired by baby Yoda Grogu, I have completed the underpainting and I feel the background is finished as well.  I've started to add color to his ears, but I think one needs a more orange feeling and I'm debating on his hues of green for his face.  I meant to get him done for the Mandalorian, but now it's more of a May the Fourth backburner project...  This is where I am with him right now.

This is a work in progress, but I also post finished pieces here as well if you'd like to come to visit!  Most of my art is also available on my website at lisabellarusso.com; however, on the first Tuesday of the month, I like to put some art prints and LE ACEO prints on ebay at a lower promotional rate for the duration of the auctions...  This month, my theme is Chinese New Year Zodiac animals (with the intention to add my muskox and some additional Zodiac animals on the first Tuesday of February) art plus some more; you may see them here.

May the Fourth (4th) be With You! Big Eye Toned Drawing of Baby Yoda...

I hope you have a wonderful Star Wars Day from me and from baby Yoda at lisabellarusso.com!  May the Fourth (4th) be with You...

Usually I do a toned drawing as a precursor to doing a painting, but this time I have not yet decided if I'll take this any further.  We recently subscribed to Disney+ streaming and I was able to watch The Mandalorian.  Of course I was smitten with baby Yoda, not that he's technically actually baby Yoda, but smitten I was...

I've mentioned wanting do some more toned drawings this year and add them to the studies section of my website, but I haven't had much follow through yet.  Hopefully this little 5"x7" drawing on 9"x12" toned paper will be there in the not too distant future depending on if I decide to go further and do a painting of him or not.  If I do decide to paint him, I'll wait until the painting is also complete and add them to the website at the same time.
