Serious Big Eye Gothic Angel Fairy Sketch Art + Purple Rose Website Update...

Here is a sketch of a big eye gothic maiden.  I can see her as a mermaid or an angel fairy, I think she has a sweet and serious quality.  Perhaps she is also a little bit sad, when I do art I try to go where the piece takes me.  I'm not sure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.

I am also participating in Sunday Sketches.  To view more Sunday Sketches, please visit:

"Purple Rose" Original Painting NFS
Open Edition 8"x10" Giclee Prints & Limited Edition Giclee ACEO Prints Here

This is part of my gothic garden series...  The purple and lilac rose is bold yet delicate at the same time.  I love purple and roses so much that I combined the two in this flower.  This floral art has an impressionist expressionistic feel.  The original is not for sale, but I do have this piece available as prints and ACEOs!

My website at http://www.lisarusso.com has more art available, including a whole section of floral paintings!

Also, every week on Tuesday I try to list a small original, some giclee art prints, and giclee LE ACEO prints at promotional prices. Visit here to see what I have available this week!

I also try to draw and paint intuitively letting the hand take me where it decides to go. Sometimes they're happy, sometimes they're sad and sometimes they're just plain sexy. lol I do love the way you draw eyes. Beautiful work!

I love your sketch of your big eyed girl. I was immediately drawn to her eyes and then went back for a second and third look. To me she may look a little wistful but not sad. If you do decide to paint her, I hope you will share her with us.

The flower is beautiful. One of my favorite colors.
