Here is a bit of work on a tiny painting I am working on. In this work in progress view, I've worked on the fairy angel's neck and shoulders a bit. Her hair will be covering most of it, but I wanted to block it in in the WIP so that when I paint her hair, skin tone can shine through in certain areas... I hope that if you celebrate Thanksgiving, it was wonderful.

Nice work, it's coming along nicely. Happy PPF, hugs, Valerie
great idea to have the background in place first!
I never know whether to paint the background first or not.
It's always interesting to see and read other artists work in progress so thank you for sharing.
Happy PPF to you
It looks fine what you've done. Waiting more...
Happy weekend xx
Thanks very much Valerie-Jael, Christine, Neesie, sirkkis! I usually paint the background first, sometimes I change my mind though and revisit the background at the end...
Very nice... I paint the background first, then paint it after too...so that I can embellish the lines or calms them down...or shape things differently.
Hugs Giggles
Thanks Giggles, I think it's interesting how different artists approach their art works...
I am always so inspired by your art. Can't wait to see this one finished. Have a nice Sunday.
I love seeing your progress pics! I keep forgetting to take pictures in-between!
Thanks Nicole and Stacy! I forget sometimes too...
