Happy Father's Day & Sketch of a Big Eye Gothic Fairy Angel, June 19, Art Sketches Daily...

Happy Father's Day wishes from me at www.lisarusso.com.

My dad loves the ocean, so that is why I have chosen this painting for this day...

"Reminders" Original 11"x14" Painting, Open Edition 8"x10" Giclee Prints, & Limited Edition Giclee ACEO Prints are available on my website Here.

Here is a sketch of a big eyed gothic maiden.  She looks directly at us and has a veil attached to the ribbon in her hair.  I'm unsure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.

I've decided to try and do a sketch a day in June.  This is day 19.

This is a rough sketch.  You may see some of my finished paintings at lisarusso.com if you'd like.

I am also participating in Sunday Sketches.  To view more Sunday Sketches, please visit:

Lisa...I really do need to force myself to try to draw a face a day. I feel so inadequate. Your angel has a lovely countenance about her. A sweet look to her. Thank you for your visit and sweet words. Hope you have a nice week. genie

Thanks so much Barbara, I am drawn to the ethereal.

Thanks genie, I started with the 29 faces challenge, there's another one coming up in September. I have the link with information on the right hand bar if you're interested.

Thanks Jennifer very much, they were both fun to do!

Thank you so much Christine, I'm not really sure how I would paint that veil, but it was fun to draw.

Welcome back Lorraine! I hope your new blog goes really well, I need to work on selling some of my misc. stuff, but I'll probably do it through ebay and post about it on my other blog if I ever get around to it...

Thank you so much Sandy, I love sailboats.

Funny that you have a sailboat and a beautiful maiden who appears to be day dreaming...
