I took this photograph of a white heron and a black duck at Descanso Gardens a while back. I was at the bird watching station before they made the path around the pond. This was taken from pretty far back, I've cropped the image so that the birds are more visible. The black duck is a regular there, the heron I've seen much more rarely.
