My Gentle Ram Art Original Painting! Art Prints & ACEOs! 29 Faces in September...

This Week "Gentle Ram" Original 5"x7" Painting here
5"x7" Open Edition print here
ACEO 2.5"x3.5" Limited Edition LE 1st of 25 here

I am listing "Gentle Ram," an original painting of a ram with soft golden eyes.  Animals are very dear to me and this big horn mountain sheep has a gentle quality.  The art has a realist impressionist feel...

I also have additional giclee art and ACEO prints here this week from Tuesday to Tuesday with a theme of hooved friends.  It's mostly horses, but there are unicorns and a fawn as well.

Most of my art is also available on my website at http://www.lisarusso.com; however, I like to put some art on ebay at a lower promotional start rate for the duration of the auctions...  I have been updating my website.  I still have more to add, but there is now an excellent selection of art available!

After the auction, "Gentle Ram" will be available on my website here.

Here is a sketch of a big eyed maiden.  I think this gothic femme has kind eyes and a gentle nature.  I think she is most likely an angel fairy, although she could also be a mermaid or goddess.    I'm unsure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.

She is face 29 for 29 faces in September!  The goal is to share 29 faces in the month of September.  When I get a chance, I'll put together a compilation of the sketches and share some of my thoughts on the challenge.

Happy Chinese New Year! 29 Faces, Big Eye Fairy Angel Face 19 + Ram Sheep Website Update...

Here is a rough sketch that I did of a big eye fairy angel.  I think this gothic beauty has a very serious expression...  I'm not sure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.  She is face 19 for the 29 faces challenge in February.  For 29 Faces, the challenge is to share 29 faces in the month of February.

Happy Chinese New Year!  I hope it is a wonderful year for you!
"Gentle Ram" Original 5"x7" Painting, Open Edition 5"x7" Giclee Prints & Limited Edition Giclee ACEO Prints Here

"Gentle Ram" is of a big horn mountain sheep.  I painted him in honor of year of the sheep, although this lunar new year there is some debate if it's year of the sheep or goat...  I think they're both wonderful animals and will endeavor to paint a goat at some point in the future.  The piece has a soft realist impressionist feel with some texture on the original painting.  This piece is available as an original, as prints, and Limited Edition ACEOs!

Every week on Tuesday, I try to list a small original, some giclee art prints, and giclee LE ACEO prints at promotional prices. Visit here to see what I have available this week!

This Week "Gentle Ram" Original 5"x7" Painting here
5"x7" print here
ACEO 2.5"x3.5" Limited Edition LE 1st of 25 here

I am listing "Gentle Ram," an original painting of a big horn sheep.  He is inspired by the upcoming Chinese New Year.  He has a gentle quality, which is considered one of the attributes of those born in the year of the ram.  He has a realist impressionist feel...  There is some texture in the original painting.

I also have additional giclee art and ACEO prints here this week from Tuesday to Tuesday with a theme of some of my animals...

Most of my art is also available on my website at http://www.lisarusso.com; however, I like to offer some art on ebay at a lower promotional start rate for the duration of the auctions...  I have started at updating and adding payment buttons to my website.  It's a very slow project, but one I am working on.

Here is a rough sketch that I did of a big eye elf fairy.  I think she has a gentle yet wild quality.  I'm not sure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.  She is face 10 for the 29 faces challenge in February.  For 29 Faces, the challenge is to share 29 faces in the month of February.

Ram Sheep Art Original Painting Work in Progress WIP...

In this work in progress, I've been working on the background of my ram painting some more.  The background of this sheep WIP now has a more dynamic, textured feel...

29 faces in February starts tomorrow, I am almost completely unprepared...  I wanted to gather some reference in advance, but it looks like it will be very much a day by day adventure.

Ram Sheep Animal Art Original Painting Work in Progress WIP...

Here is the start of my ram painting that I'm doing in honor of Year of the Sheep for Chinese New Year.  In this work in progress, I've painted in an impressionistic dark blue background.  I still plan on doing a bit more with this background before I start on the ram, I think it needs a bit more attention.  The painting is 5"x7" on panel.  The line art is a bit faint in this WIP, but it should come together more as the painting progresses.  Animals are such a joy to paint.

Year of the Ram Sheep Sketch Art...

Here is a sketch of a ram.  It will be year of the sheep soon.  I hope to paint this ram in honor of Chinese New Year, but I'm not sure if I'll finish on time.  I might make the attempt though.
