This week my featured painting is "Waterlily Enchantment."  She has large deep brown eyes, long flowing hair, and a water lily adorning her head.  The art has a lowbrow surreal fantasy feel. The original big eye gothic angel fairy garden guardian painting is available for purchase on my website as are art prints and LE ACEO prints!   

Most of my art is also available on my website at lisarusso.com; however, on the first Tuesday of the month, I like to put some art prints and LE ACEO prints on ebay at a lower promotional rate for the duration of the auctions...  This month, my theme is a selection of some of my animals, you may see them here.  There is also an angel who was a bonus auction from last month, she will only be available on ebay until Thursday but the original, prints, and LE ACEO prints are currently available on my website...

Here is a sketch of a big eyed maiden.  She seems to be engaged in serious reflections.  I think she is most likely a fairy angel, although she could also be a goddess or a mermaid.  I'm unsure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her...

I took this photograph of this zinnia flower bud at Huntington Gardens.  Even before the flowers bloom, I think they are quite lovely.  I hope that you will enjoy this photo!
