Here is a bit of progress on my little bird's perch. This is a male cardinal, I haven't started in on the bird himself yet, but I hope to soon.

Looking wonderful - that red boy should really pop in that painting.
I like his perch. I have always loved to paint wood - sometimes barns and sometimes fence posts. This is going to be a great painting when you get the red in there.
Oh he already looks incredibly sweet.. and love the perch... looking forward to seeing it finished...
