Parmigianino Inspired Sketch Art 29 Faces Face 8 + Blue Angel Fairy Website Update...

This is face 8 for the 29 faces September challenge.  This is a master study sketch.  While I was doing research for my Athena painting that I am still working on the foundation for, I came across "Pallas Athene" by the artist known as Parmigianino from 1539.  I decided to do a sketch inspired by Girolamo Francesco Maria Mazzola's beautiful painting.  For 29 Faces, the challenge is to share 29 faces during the given month.

I am also participating in Sunday Sketches.  To view more Sunday Sketches, please visit:

"Seven" is a big eye fairy angel.  She has big light brown eyes and her wings are fluid and beautiful.  The original is not for sale, but I do have her available as prints and ACEOs!

Every week on Tuesday, I try to list a small original, some giclee art prints, and giclee LE ACEO prints at promotional prices. Visit here to see what I have available this week!

Your girls are lovely. I really like how the hair drapes down the shoulder of the first one and LOVE the shades of blue/grey in the second one. Great job. :)
