Here is a sketch of a big eyed gothic maiden. She is posing for us so sweetly with her pretty hat... Although I haven't painted many of them, I love hats! I think she is most likely a fairy angel, although she could also be a mermaid or goddess (although if she is a mermaid she must have some above ground secret cove to keep her hats safely dry!). I'm unsure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.

Your faces are always so wonderfully pretty. This beautiful lady reminds me of Scarlett O'Hara somehow from the story "Gone with the wind". Phantastic story!
