Original Big Eye Harriet Tubman Black History Month Framed Painting!

 

"Guiding Star" is my big eye painting of Harriet Tubman.  She has large, expressive eyes and a determined expression. I wanted to give tribute to her legacy in this painting.

In honor of Black History Month, this traditional art is painted in duo oils on a wood panel that measures approximately 8"x10" and is in an antique oval frame that measures approximately 12"x14.5"

I am listing "Summer Sun," an original painting of two sunflowers with a soft impressionist realist  feel.  I rarely paint oil paintings due to my allergies, but this is painted with oils!  Usually my favorite colors are blue, purple, and black; but when it comes to flowers, I am not immune to the beauty of a broader spectrum...  

I also have additional giclee art and ACEO prints here this week from Tuesday to Tuesday with a theme of sunflowers; one hummingbird has also sneaked in on an image that also has sunflowers.   

Most of my art is also available on my website at http://www.lisarusso.com; however, I like to offer some art on ebay at a lower promotional start rate for the duration of the auctions...  I have started at updating and adding payment buttons to my website.  It's a very slow project, but one I am working on.
