Please do not eat me!  I was inspired by the adorable porg birds of Star Wars for these rough sketches.  Perhaps for next year I'll paint one of them...

This is my most recent completed painting, it was inspired by Grogu aka Baby Yoda of the Mandalorian.  In "A New Hope," it looks like he is cocking his ear listening to his name.  This is a 5"x7" original painting, but while the original has sold, I do have open edition prints and LE ACEO prints available.

I've put the finishing touches on "A New Hope," my toned drawing of Grogu Baby Yoda.  This is a 5"x7" study on toned 9"x12" drawing paper.  I've also finished my full color acrylic painting, but I will endeavor to share that tomorrow.

WIP Chow Chow Puppy Dog Art Original Painting Work in Progress + Sketch of a Big Eye Fairy, Daffodil Flower, & Princess Leia / May 2-4 / Art Sketches Daily...

In this original acrylic painting of a chow chow puppy dog, I think the fur is where I'd like it to be.  I've blocked in the eyes and the nose; I'll begin detailing them next.  The panel that I'm painting on is 5"x7"

May 2-4 Sketches

Here is a sketch of a big eyed maiden.  She has a cautious demeanor...  I think she is most likely a fairy angel, although she could also be a mermaid or a goddess.  I'm unsure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.

I've decided to try and do a sketch a day in May. This is from day 2.

Here is a sketch of a daffodil flower.  They are such sweet and demure flowers...  I'm unsure if I'll paint this sketch or not, but I did enjoy sketching it.
