This week I am listing "Watchful Eyes" at my promotional rate as a print and ACEO. The original surreal lowbrow goddess painting is available for purchase on my website!  Athena (also known to the Romans as Minerva) is the Greek goddess of wisdom and is part of my goddess series.  I also have additional giclee art and ACEO prints on ebay here with a theme of myths and fairytales.

I have started at updating and adding payment buttons to my website. It's a very slow project, but one I am working on.

Angel Fairy Art Original Painting Work in Progress WIP...

Here is a work in progress view of my 11"x14" original big eye angel fairy painting.  I'm reworking the clouds.  I painted over the ones I had before and started again.  Beyond the base, I haven't done anything yet in the lower right corner (although my hand was a bit messy and left some marks that I will cover up when I paint the clouds there) and in the lower left corner the paint is a bit thick, I'm going to sand it down a little bit before I possibly try to make them a little fluffier.  I think the upper section is close to how I want it, but I won't decide if I'm done with that section until I see how it all works together when I'm further along with the bottom sections.  Once the sky looks right, I'll begin work on her wings...

My Photograph of a Hiding Bunny Rabbit at Descanso Gardens...

I took this photograph at Descanso Gardens some time ago.  Here is a hiding bunny rabbit.  I think he felt quite safe in the underbrush, although he wasn't keen to have been found, he waited for a while before scampering off...  I hope that you will enjoy this photo!

I am listing "Ode to Spring," an original painting of a brown bunny rabbit taking time to smell the flowers.  I love bunnies and spring so much, I was singing a happy little bunny song as I was painting this...  I think he'd be wonderful for spring and Easter decor or just any time of the year!

I'm also listing my original white winter bunny painting here, it's not quite spring where this little cutey is, but he's one of my favorites.

Sweet Big Eye Fairy Angel Sketch...

Here is a rough sketch of a big eye fairy angel.  I think she has a sweet quality.  I'm not sure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.  I went to the Cherry Blossom Festival yesterday at Descanso Gardens and took part of a tour (I was photographing some flowers and lost the group at some point...), it was very informative (well, up until the time I lost the group, but they were really pretty flowers...).  Today though I get to work on Operation Cute and Fluffy and hopefully also the angel fairy I am working on, I think I found some clouds to use as reference that will work for her.

Bunny Rabbit Art Original Painting Work in Progress WIP Operation Cute and Fluffy Continues...

Here is a work in progress view of my little 5"x7" original bunny rabbit painting.  He's looking very nice and fluffy now!  There are a lot of little stems and flowers so I'm not sure if I'll have this done for Tuesday, but I'm definitely going to try...

My Photograph of a Butterfly on a Flower at Descanso Gardens...

I took this photograph at Descanso Gardens some time ago.  I love butterflies, I followed this one around as it flit from flower to flower...  This was one of my favorite shots, I might like to paint it some day.  I find capturing a butterfly on camera can be quite a challenge.  I'm so glad that with digital cameras I can take as many shots as I'd like without worrying about the blurry ones!  I'm going to Descanso Gardens tomorrow with a friend, I'll have to try to be a bit more reserved about picture taking than I usually am so that she has a better opportunity to enjoy the gardens...  I hope that you will enjoy this photo!

I am listing "More Than One Way to Fly," an original painting of a big eye fairy steampunk lass with her magical fox squirrel friend and a departing hot air balloon.  She's missed her flight, but she will catch the next one...

Bunny Rabbit Art Original Painting Work in Progress WIP Continues...

Here is a work in progress view of my little 5"x7" original bunny rabbit painting.  At this stage in the WIP I've painted part of the bunny, his face and ears are pretty much done, but I'm still working on his body.  He looks a bit like he's wearing a brown bag in the parts I haven't finessed yet!  This painting is on panel, and working with the fur is going well, but for some reason it doesn't take the paint really well straight away, so I have to apply a base coat first almost everywhere.  I probably won't be finishing this for this Tuesday, but if not hopefully I will for next Tuesday...

Spring is definitely inspiring me for this piece!
