We've been watching some of the fairytales on Disney+, Snow White was one of them; and so my featured painting is "Sneewittchen." She is inspired by the Grimms' fairy tale Snow White. "Sneewittchen" translates to Snow White from German as written back when it was published. Her dark hair is adorned with water lilies, her skin is ever so pale, and her lips a brilliant red. The art has a lowbrow surreal feel. The original big eye gothic fairytale painting is available on my website as are art prints and LE ACEO prints!

I love Hello Kitty and I love art, so this show was a perfect storm of love for me!  Some of my favorite artists had works in the show and I was introduced to some new artists as well.  I photographed most of the show, so it will be a while until I've rezised and shared my pictures, but I hope you will enjoy them as they come along.

In some cases I have photos of me with the art as part of my #withtheart series of photographs.  For this show, my wonderful and talented mother made me a solo Hello Kitty crochet doll as well as a hat with multiple figures!  I hope you will enjoy them as well.

WIP Big Eye Snow White Waterlily Art Original Painting Work in Progress + May Sketches, Sketch 22, Snapdragon Flower...

In this original work in progress WIP big eye maiden painting I've completed her flowers.  All that remains is the highlights in her eyes and she will be complete.  This fairytale angel fairy with water lilies in her hair is inspired by Snow White.

Here is a sketch of snapdragon flowers.  Snapdragons were one of my favorite flowers when I was a child, they are such a charming flower both in name and in beauty.  I'm unsure if I'll paint it or not, but I did enjoy sketching it.

In this original work in progress WIP big eye maiden painting I've been working on her flowers.  I am very close to being done, but for some reason I have shaded the flowers opposite of her face, so it's back to the drawing board or rather painting board in this case...  Worry not, I have not forgotten the highlights in her eyes, this time I am leaving them for last.  This fairytale angel fairy with water lilies in her hair is inspired by Snow White.

Here is a sketch of a rosebud.  In honor of Cinco de Mayo I sketched it in red colored pencil.  I love roses so much, my grandparents had the most amazing garden with such beautiful flowers!  I'm unsure if I'll paint it or not, but I did enjoy sketching it.

This is also my 3rd face for the 29 faces challenge.  The challenge is to share 29 faces in the month of September.  I've shared her before, but I made a change to her lips.  I think they were a bit too small before.  I liked her before, but now I think she's even better!
