My Photograph of Peach Water Lily Flowers at the Norton Simon...

In addition to having a wonderful art collection, the Norton Simon Museum of Art has a beautiful pond that you may walk around.  I took this photograph of this peach water lily a while back.  I love to paint water lilies, so whenever I get the opportunity to photograph them, I try to do so.  These flowers are not in season here right now, but one of the lovely things about photographs is that they can be enjoyed at any time.  I hope that you will enjoy this photo!

You may see some of my finished paintings at http://www.lisarusso.com if you'd like.

My Photograph of a Mallard Duck Couple at Descanso Gardens ...

I took this photograph at Descanso Gardens at the pond near the front some time ago.  These two mallard ducks didn't stray too far from one another while I was watching.  The male usually followed the female pretty closely, I thought they were so sweet together.  I hope that you will enjoy this photo!

This photograph is of a preening swan that I took at the Self Realization Center in Malibu.  There were two swans and I thought they were so beautiful.  I hope you will enjoy this photo...

This is face 5 for the 29 faces September challenge.  She is a big eye fairy angel or possibly mermaid sketch.  For 29 Faces, the challenge is to share 29 faces during the given month.

A Photograph of a Turtle at the Norton Simon Museum of Art...

This photograph is of a turtle who was in the pond and garden area of the Norton Simon Museum of Art.  This is the only time I can recall having seen a turtle there, and he looked none too pleased at being spotted.  He seemed to be saying, "paparazzi please, this is my me time;" but he was so cute I couldn't resist taking a quick photo of him...
