Original Big Eye Harriet Tubman Black History Month Framed Painting!

 

"Guiding Star" is my big eye painting of Harriet Tubman.  She has large, expressive eyes and a determined expression. I wanted to give tribute to her legacy in this painting.

In honor of Black History Month, this traditional art is painted in duo oils on a wood panel that measures approximately 8"x10" and is in an antique oval frame that measures approximately 12"x14.5"

I've completed my female masked trogon bird painting inspired by #birbfest2025.  She is very fluffy and a bit miffed.

The original painting is duo oils on a panel, measures 5"x7" and is titled Feathered Fume.

Original Pencil Lineart for Big Eye Harriet Tubman Black History Month Painting on Wood Panel

 

If you look closely, you may see my pencil lineart for my big eye Harriet Tubman painting that I've transferred to the wood panel.  Alex sanded the panel for me for a more smooth surface to paint on, but there are still some rough areas.

The traditional art is on a wood panel that measures approximately 8"x10" and will be painted in duo oils and framed in an antique oval frame in honor of Black History Month. 

Happy Valentine's Day! Original Big Eye Rococo Maiden with Lovebirds Fantasy Painting Framed

 

My big eye rococo maiden with lovebirds in her wig and I would like to wish you a happy Valentine's Day!  The birds have a folk art feel, but the entire piece has an #avantgoth feel to it.

The traditional art original painting is duo oils on a wood panel cut to fit a vintage octagon frame that measures approximately 12"x20" and is approximately 14"x22" framed. It is titled Feathered Refuge.

I started blocking in my female masked trogon WIP Work in Progress bird painting inspired by #birbfest2025.  I think I'll begin work on her tail next.  Her chest is a red #orange for #FebruArty

I have pretty much finished the underpainting of my WIP Work in Progress big eye mermaid with a seashell crown painting.  I think I'll work on her skin tones next.

WIP Work in Progress! Original Big Eye Dia de los Muertos / Day of the Dead Fantasy Painting...

 

I've made some progress on my Dia de los Muertos / Day of the Dead Xochitl painting.  I've mainly worked on her hair, headdress, feathers, and #eyes for #FebruArty.  Her feathers and eyes need a bit more work and she'll have more make up; but that's coming...

I am working on the underpainting of my WIP Work in Progress big eye mermaid with a seashell crown painting.  I have a bit more to go on her face and then I'll start working on her hair.
