Sentry of the Blood Moon (Owlet Sketch Study) by Lisabella Russo

Presenting my rough pencil sketch of a sweet owlet, "Sentry of the Blood Moon," for Day 4 of #Drawlloween! 🦉🌙✨

For the owl prompt, I captured this round, big-eyed little creature as a preliminary study in graphite on sketch paper.

✨ I plan to develop this drawing into a full oil painting on a crescent moon panel, which I can't wait to share with you for Day 26's prompt, Moon! 💚

A massive thank you to @mabgraves for hosting this incredible, inspiring challenge every year! 🖤
