Big Eye Gothic Fairy Angel Goddess Sketch Art...

Here is a sketch of a big eye gothic maiden.  She has a sweet sideways glance.  I think she is likely a fairy angel or a goddess, but she also could be a mermaid of the deep blue sea.  I'm not sure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.

I took this photograph of this purple flower at Huntington Gardens.  I'm not sure what the name of the flower is, but I think it was lovely.  These flowers also came in a variety of beautiful colors, but I will endeavor to share more of them on another day.  I'm on a bit of a purple flowers kick right now...  I hope that you will enjoy this photo!

Serious Big Eye Gothic Angel Fairy Sketch Art + Purple Rose Website Update...

Here is a sketch of a big eye gothic maiden.  I can see her as a mermaid or an angel fairy, I think she has a sweet and serious quality.  Perhaps she is also a little bit sad, when I do art I try to go where the piece takes me.  I'm not sure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.

Sakura Cherry Blossoms Flowers Art Original Painting Work in Progress WIP

Here is a work in progress view of a 5"x7" original sakura cherry blossoms painting.  I've done some very light and subtle glazing on the flowers in this wip.  I still have to do some more glazing and then the cores of the flowers.  Cherry blossoms are such delicate and lovely flowers, I am hoping to capture that...

Angel Fairy Big Eye Art Original Painting Work in Progress WIP...

Here is a work in progress view of an 11"x14" original angel fairy painting.  I've been working on the wing shadows, I think I am just about ready to move on to skin tones, although I may go back to the wings when I've completed more of the painting.  I've also done a little work on my sakura cherry blossoms paintings, but I'll wait to share them until I'm a little further along...

I took this photograph of a yellow orchid at Huntington Gardens in the greenhouse.  I love how the light is shining through the petals, orchids are one of my favorite flowers, they are so inspiring and have such beauty and diversity.  I think this one looks like it is reaching out for a hug...  I hope that you will enjoy this photo! 

Here is a sketch of a big eye gothic maiden.  Although they rarely occur in my art, I'm a big fan of hats!  This fairy angel has a serious and contemplative quality.  I'm not sure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.

I am listing "Red Abundance," an original painting of a red orchid.  Orchids have such a diversity of form, they are one of my favorite flowers in part for that reason.  I think this is my first time listing this piece, I painted it initially for a small works show at Elon and recently found it.  The art has a realist impressionist feel...

I also have additional giclee art and ACEO prints here this week from Tuesday to Tuesday with a theme of tropical flowers.  

Most of my art is also available on my website at http://www.lisarusso.com; however, I like to offer some art on ebay at a lower promotional start rate for the duration of the auctions...  I have started at updating and adding payment buttons to my website.  It's a very slow project, but one that I am making progress at.
