LACMA Show Fashioning Fashion VII & Big Eye Fairy Angel Face 9...

This is face 9 for the 29 faces September challenge.  She is a big eye angel fairy sketch.  I am planning to paint her, but I think this rough sketch needs to be refined and possibly redrawn before I do so.  For 29 Faces, the challenge is to share 29 faces during the given month.

Here is another work in progress view of my fairy.  I'm still working on her lips and may add a bit more shading and then on to her hair.  I am hoping to have her ready by tomorrow, but we'll see how today goes.

I thought this was really cute!  Definitely make sure your sound is on if you take a look.

Face 5

This is face number 5, she has her eyes closed and is daydreaming.  If I paint her, I think she would be an angel.  For 29 Faces, the challenge is to share 29 faces in the month of February...

I painted this little abstract expressionist angel for Nibblefest, she's on ebay here.  I've named her simply "Blue Angel."  She is my first original ACEO painting.  Due to the small size (2.5"x3.5"), I chose to paint her as simply as possible, I think she has a certain serenity.  Nibblefest auctions start at 99c, no reserve!
