I painted a Violet purple hummingbird and an Emerald green ruby throated hummingbird with sunflowers together on one canvas, but at the time, my camera couldn't capture the image at a high enough quality to capture the image.  I loved the painting so much that I scanned it into the computer as two separate images and that is how I am sharing them...  I sold the original, but I do have this available as prints and LE ACEOs!

Yesterday I spent the day with my mother at Descanso Gardens and then to the bookstore.  I am in the planning stages for some new paintings, but I don't quite have anything to share just yet.  After I go to the post office to drop off the painting, I hope to make some progress!

I love hummingbirds, I think they're such tiny little gems and so fascinating to watch as they fly or even as they pause for a break.  I feel so fortunate when I see one, I hope you will enjoy this hummingbird!  I sold the original, but I do have this piece available as prints and ACEOs!

I've also added this one to my website.  Snowy Night is of a blue and white unicorn inspired by a photograph of a horse by Shawn Parker.  As the snow is softly falling, this unicorn passes by in the night.  I sold the original, but I do have this piece available as prints and ACEOs!

An Abstract Angel Original Painting, a Big Eye Angel Art Print, and more Angel Prints!

My featured print auction for the week is on ebay here.  It is titled "Celestial Calm" and is of a big eye angel.  I also have additional art prints here.

They're all based on my original paintings with a theme of angels and are starting today and ending next Tuesday.

Most of my art is also available on my website at http://www.lisarusso.com; however, I like to offer some art on ebay at a lower promotional start rate for the duration of the auctions...  The prints have a start price that's approximately 20% off and the original art has a start price that's approximately 25% off!

I'm listing this original painting here and the print of it is here.  The title is "Earthen" and it is of an abstract angel loosely inpsired by Ted DeGrazia's art.

My newest mermaid painting is temporarily out of reach.  I know I packed her from the show and I know she made it home, but where she is exactly at this moment I am unsure...  Organization is not my strongest suite.  I'm sure she'll turn up at some point though...
