29 Faces in February, Face 1 Big Eye Angel Fairy...

Here is a sketch of a big eyed gothic maiden.  She has brambles as a crown in her long, full hair.  I think she is most likely a fairy angel, although she could also be an mermaid.   I'm unsure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.

She is face 1 for 29 faces in February.  The goal is to share 29 faces in the month of February.  To learn more about the challenge, please click here.

This is a rough sketch.  You may see some of my finished paintings at lisarusso.com if you'd like.

This challenge is so inspiring!  I am linking this post with Inspire Me Monday

Lovely artwork. I love her thorny crown, and I think the 29 faces challenge is a great goal to attempt! Looking forward to seeing more of the faces this month! :)

Deep eyes, enough for one to plunge into. Great piece.

Hi yes I am joining in this year. You always amaze me when you say this is a rough sketch. Your rough sketches are so much more than that. See ya tomorrow.
