Here is a work in progress view of my 11"x14" original gothic angel fairy painting.  I've started on the skin tones and painted some layers on her face and neck.  In this wip, her neck is further along than her face, but I still have a bit to go before I'm done there...

I took this photograph of pink cherry blossoms at Schabarum Park.  They are no longer in bloom, but I was fortunate to capture these flowers before their brief season of blooming was over...  I hope that you will enjoy this photo!

Here is a sketch of a big eye gothic maiden.  She has a slight tilt to her face and has a gentle smile.  I think she is most likely a mermaid, but she could be a fairy angel.  I'm not sure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.

I am listing "Sakura Ichi," an original painting of pink cherry blossoms.  These spring flowers are a favorite of mine, they are such a fleeting beauty that I have strived to capture here.  The art has a soft realist impressionist feel...

Jasmine Becket-Griffith is one of my all time favorite artists.  I have admired her art since the first time I saw it some years ago.  I visit her facebook page here often to be awed and inspired.  She paints such gorgeous big eyed females!  I've visited her art at the Wonderground Gallery a number of times, but Friday I went to her show and met her in person.  In addition to being seriously skilled and talented, she is incredibly kind as well.  I was extremely nervous to meet one of my art idols, but she was so amazing.  If you have the opportunity to go to one of her shows in person, I highly recommend it.  Her art is phenomenal and she is so sweet.  She's highly prolific and has a vast assortment of such intensely lovely art, to see more of it, I invite you to visit here website here.

WIP Sakura Cherry Blossoms Flowers Art Original Painting Work in Progress + Sailboat Website Update...

Here is a work in progress view of a 5"x7" original sakura cherry blossoms painting.  I've done additional glazing on the flowers in this wip.  I still need to do the cores of the flowers and a bit more.  However, I think I am close to finishing this painting, I hope to have it completed by Tuesday...

I am listing "Three Friends," an original painting of a black gothic mermaid with some of her clownfish friends.  Clownfish love sea anenomes and this mermaid's hair as well!  The art has a lowbrow surreal feel...

Here is a sketch of a big eye gothic maiden.  She is a second sketch, but I think I might like to do another of her.  I think she'll be a fairy angel if I paint her.  I'm not sure if I'll paint her or not, but I did enjoy sketching her.
